I be an Irish lass now livin' here in the states and I bought this book and made every dish not only to see if they measured up, but becasue I missed the foods I grew up livin' This book tis a MUST buy! I were thrilled with every page, recipie, mouthful!
Has all old favorites and the pictures are amazing!
Saw this book first in print, loved it, didn't purchase it though. Purchased the ebook months later, absoloutely love the descriptions, the detail, and the recipes. Have adapted quite a few to my tastes, and continualy make this a go to cookbook!
It has pictures of each dish + some pictures of Ireland. There's also a small paragraph discussing each dish. Appetizers & Snacks, Entrees, vegetables & sides, and desserts & drinks. Lots of potato, leek, seafood(scallops, etc.), and stews. I haven't made any of the recipes but plan to soon. Can't wait to make 'Apple Cake'! This book is a great deal. About 170 pages
