This was a very good book. It easily kept my attention with all of the continuous surprises within each chapter. The bottom line is that you never know what another person is going through. It ended with what some may consider a happy ending however I can certainly see a sequel as there are still alot of unanswered questions. I am an avid Kimberla Lawson-Roby fan. Those of you who are familiar with her "Curtis Black" series of books will surely get enjoyment from reading about Hezakiah and Samantha Cleveland.

From the outside looking in, it would seem as though the Cleveland family has it going on. Hezekiah is at the helm of a mega church that is booming in membership and broadcast to millions of views around the world. His wife Samantha is just as powerful and spiritually motivated, and truth be told, she is the momentum that brings Hezekiah to where he is in his career. However, if one were to look through the stain-glass windows and dig a little deeper into their story, they would come to find that there is a lot more than meets the eye. Betrayal, deception, corruption, and any one of the ten commandments are easily broken when it comes to this couple who are supposed to be leading their flock to God. Who will be left standing when the stench of their decaying blossom starts to waft all the way up to the pulpit? What a whirlwind! In seven days this church has more drama going on that it's almost unfathomable to understand how they even made it to that moment. This book reminded me of why it is so important not to elevate a man to the level of God. We all are imperfections of his creation. So much trust was put into this couple that it was almost impossible for many to see the truth that stood before their eyes. This was definitely a page turner. I feel a part two coming, the way the synopsis read had me thinking that Samantha would have a little more shown on her being in charge in the aftermath. If I'm right, then I'm eager to read the second installment. If this is not the case, I'd encourage the author to consider it because there are a few questions and loose ends at the end that should be resolved. While there were a few editing concerns, there was nothing major enough to reduce the rating as overall this was a very good read. Reviewed by: Nikkea Smithers RWA Bookclub President

If you like other people's drama, then you will love this. This book is so good, you will hate that it ended but will be glad it did.

Hezekiah and Samantha Cleveland are the prominent pastor and first lady of New Testament Cathedral in the city of Los Angeles. From the outside looking in, the power couple look as happy as can be, but in reality, it's a thin line between love and hate. A deep dark secret is leaked to the news media and the church that will send its members in an uproar. Will New Testament Cathedral be able to bounce back from the chaos and a fatal demise? "Come Sunday Morning" is one of those reads you can't put down until the very end. This book is full of drama and suspense that will have you saying, "What the what?" I wouldn't be surprise if this is really happening in the churches nowadays; anything is possible. Also, this novel leans toward trusting and believing in the word of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and that you have to try him for yourself. "Come Sunday Morning" is a good read that I would recommend to others. Reviewed by: Tange

I enjoyed this book and have moved on to the second in the series. It held my attention. My main dislkie was there was way, way to much "fluff" in it. There were to many pages and pages detailing the clothes, the houses, furniture, fixtrures, surroundings, cars jeweley right down to the landscaping and animals. All of that was fine to mention, but to keep going into it over and over again was way to many waste of pages. This book could easily have been 100 pages shorter. I found myself skipping to them to get to what was going to happen next. It also as a previous reader wrote reminded me of the Curtis Black series, which I also truly enjoyed.

This kept me awake at night reading. Surprising story of religion versus reality. This LOVE story comes with major twist and turns. Scriptures were hardly mentioned in this novel, thus letting you know that it is all about the ALMIGHTY dollars and not the ALMIGHTY GOD!

Very good book but the ending was horrible.....left Way too many unanswered questions. just when things were getting down to it the book ends. For this reason only i give it 3 stars. Could've been an easy 5 star.
