The series of C.H.U.M.P. books was designed from the viewpoint of a sports psychologist to be used as a counseling tool to increase awareness in each player of his or her inner-conversations as he or she plays. Through the experiences of C.H.U.M.P., each player can learn to develop effective, solution-based strategies to defend his or her mind in real-time against mental attacks manifested by doubt or fear of failure. At the conclusion of each book, the reader has the opportunity to fuse the story of C.H.U.M.P. with his or her own personal story by answering a few questions directed towards self-discovery.

About the Author
Coach Tammen has used the power of storytelling as a coach and a teacher to go beyond the academics and skill development of her students and athletes. Overtime, her stories developed into a series of books that distinguish between viewing character as a trait vs. viewing character as a skill.
