Probably not a fine piece of historical biography here, but a fun one nonetheless. It's directed at a younger crowd, and its pace and style are well-suited for the audience. But it has enough meat to it to keep my interest as well.Too often it flies through the episodes if only to get the whole story into 200 pages, where I would prefer that they tell fewer episodes and give some more detail to the ones they keep, but really this is a minor complaint. Enough is here to deepen my respect and interest in Mueller, which I think was the point.

George Muller was serving no one but himself, blowing the gifts and talents God gave him, when he suddenly submits his life to the Lord. He begins to live obediently, counting totally on God and no one else. The Lord leads him to take in orphans, with God providing for all of their needs, never asking anyone for a penny to help. George goes thru tough times, often with nothing left in his account, but the Lord never fails to provide. The story goes on to reveal God's awesome ability to use a man to his full potential when he is willing to be totally dependent on Him. This is a must-read for anyone wanting to trust God for Big things. An inspiring and heart-warming story, easy to read and enjoy.

This book was written in an easy to read style while it still painted a vivid picture of how total dependence on God always leads to Success. Mr. Muller is an inspiration! I had a wonderful time reading this book and plan on reading it again.
