GUARDIANS OF GA'HOOLE is a classic hero mythology about the fight between good and evil. This series is filled with adventure, suspense, and heart.

In the first book in the GUARDIANS... series, the reader is introduced to Soren, a barn owl and the centerpiece of the series. When Soren is pushed from his family's nest by his older brother, he is rescued from certain death on the forest floor by agents from a mysterious school for orphaned owls, St. Aggie's. When Soren arrives at St. Aggie's, he suspects there is more to the school than meets the eye. The story line was awsome. With turns at every corner. It was thrilling awsome and puzzling at the same time. I loved it. Overall it was one of the best storylines I have read.

Great series of books! Although mostly written for teens, both my wife and I found them very captivating. Easy reading and good stories of good vs evil.

This was a great book. It is betterr than the movie version which is nothing at all like the books. For anyone who has seen the movie but not read the books, than i urge you to read the books. You will be glad you did.

The books were pretty good. I loved reading about owls, but the books feel a little rushed and theres not much detales in the fighting seens. The warrior seires i think are better, but its still fun reading this seires. I would say a ten year old could probily read these books with having bad dreams or anything. Whats funny, is that i find my self using the word "gizzard". I would recimend reading this seires.

Kathryn Lasky is a great writer, along with Rowling, Tolkien, and Erin Hunter. She is very unique for using owls. I would have never thought about writing a fantasy about owls. I love her series. If you like Owls of Ga'hoole, you'd like Wolves of the Beyond. I enjoyed both series.

A little slow in parts like the begining, so I would not recomend this book for young children under the age of nine. But overall, this book is realy great, so I personally recomend this story for pople who love adventure, mystery, scandal, and most importantly, OWL'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Book Review The book The Capture from the Owls Of Ga'hoole sires is a pretty good book. It is the first of 15 but there are also 2 other books so it's kind of like 17. All of the books are short(little over 200 pages). The books are a little more in detail (with the blood and stuff) than the movie. That's because we all know how important the pg. rating is. The Capture is a lot of like the first half of the movie(the whole movie is the first 3 books) it is the same all the way until a short time after they escape. Those of you who liked twilight's little guitar thing so sorry he dose not have it through the whole thing. Like this one all the books are very in depth and you may not want to put them down. The author wrote all of the books in 3rd person. i loved these book and I loved the seris so get reading :). -seth p.s. the moon blinking is so much different and you will never guess who metal beak is in the books

This book is a childrens' masterpeice that is sure to grasp the attention of the most reluctant readers. I, at the age of 12, have read this series over and over again and the plot never gets old! I would strongly reccomend this book/series to anyone over the age of 8 with a taste for fantasy and adventure! SATISFACTION GUARANTEED! -Massefras!

I am a big owl fan so I read this book ad I really liked it. I would definitly recommend this book to anyone who likes fantasy and adventure books. You also learn facts about the different kinds of owls that come into the story. It tells how big each owl is and their colors.
