As Caillou gets older, I like him so much more. In this book he loves going skating and watching people play hockey. He wants to play too, but thinks he is too small. Dad takes him shopping where they buy used equipment and helps him learn how to play. The boys also let him play with them. The lesson in this book is about practising to get better, trying hard, realizing that some things are hard when you are younger. Bright illustrations add to the story. A good book to read to kindergarten and primary students to help them when they are frustrated about learning new things. A great addition to a family, classroom, school or public library. The publisher generously provide me with a copy of this book via Netgalley.
