Reading this to a very young 6 month old and she loves to hear you read with expression and change in tone and volume. She seems to love to hear the word OOPS as that Turkey makes his mistakes. The bright colors are clear and crisp. The short words make it an easy read for the very young babies. A great beginning to repitition and rhythm.

We just bought this along with DINOSAURS and THE GOING TO BED BOOK for a baby present. I can't tell you how many times I read those books to my kids when they were little. Before we gave them away, we read them again. It brought back so many memories! I love these books!

I love this book! It teaches colors and clothing words through a silly story. It's a fun story to sign along with. My 6 month old seems to enjoy it too.

This books is truly silly and surprising, making learning fun for kids. My toddlers call it the "oops" book.

Funny for mommy and daddy, but not as much fun to read for to a tiny tiny reader.

Good for a chuckle, again better for older babies.

I like the humor and the colors in this one - the iterations of the colored clothing is great for learning and pointing out with Dude Little. Oops!

This is a delightful book that my husband and I love to read to our baby twins. They are a little too young (13 months) but we talk about it all the time with them. The animal characters are familiar to any reader of Boynton, and I believe that it will be very useful when teaching my children what clothes go where. Enjoy!

This is one of the first books both of my boys memorized. They loved the silly turkey (Oops!) who keeps putting his clothes on wrong. Perfect for ages 1-3.

A wonderful little book for toddlers and also for the learning disabled. Not only is the dialogue very brief, but the portrayal of a turkey who cannot dress himself properly according to common sense or general social rules hits a chord with those who have trouble assessing social relationships. To toddlers, it's just funny and cute to see a turkey who can't figure out that his shoes go on his feet and that when jumping in the pool he shouldn't be fully dressed in street clothes.

Very simple. Evie likes pulling it out for us to read all the time.

Eh. It was all right. I don't think I ever quite got the "oops" bit; it never really made my children laugh, nor did it seem to add anything to the book or learning about colors. Easy, quick read with cute illustrations.

Another very funny Boynton board book for toddlers and preschoolers. Our little ones thought the silly turkey was hilarious, as he makes one mistake after another while getting dressed. Simple clear drawings are great for the youngest children. Our copy has been well loved, the corners chewed and mended with tape. A winner!

I love Sandra Boynton and have several of her books that we read to our daughter, but this one was nothing but a waster of money...I only purchased it based on the reviews which I now see was a big mistake...do yourself a favor...preview the book at the store first!

My son really likes this book. Although it doesn't tell a story, he laughs at the turkey who can't dress. It's very entertaining and teaches him how to dress himself.

My 2-year-old daughter absolutely loves this book. She likes to name the color and the clothing, then yell "OOPS!" which induces many giggles. Good tool for learning colors, too.
