I was already a fan of Black Enterprise. Now I can read it on my Nook - wonderful! It's how I stay "in the know"!

This was my first time reading Black Enterprise and I'm glad I gave it a try. It's packed with interesting articles and helpful tips for anyone who wants to be responsible and informed.

Good magazine, but EXTREMELY late on Nook delivery. It's May 18th and they still have not put out an April or May edition yet. This is very poor and disappointing. It's easier and quicker to just get up and go buy the magazine. Black Enterprise needs to tighten this up. For a business magazine, this is NOT good business! I've cancelled my Nook subscription.

Electronic issues seem to come out very late and sometimes not at all.

I am disappointed with both Black Enterprise (BE) and with Nook. While Nook continues to advertise that a BE subscription is a monthly magazine, around 12 - 18 months ago, BE suddenly began publishing bimonthly or every two months. Then in January of this year, they decided that a January through March issue would be published. I have not received a magazine in my nook library since that Jan-Mar publication. In the interim, NOOK auto renewed my subscription (as agreed) but for $12.98, not the $11.99 as advertised here. I have made calling NOOK since August 6, 2019 to get an answer as to why I am no longer receiving the BE Magazine but they will not respond to my inquiries with a written or telephonic response. The agents with whom I speak when I call keep telling me that they have elevated my issue but so far, that has not yielded any results. On my initial call on August 6th, I was told that they would not respond to my inquiry, but that I should just continue to go to the NOOK web page to check my library. Being weary of continued to the off-shore call center, I sent a letter to the Director of Sales at Barnes and Noble Headquarters in New York, but that agency has not responded to me, either. NOOK says that subscribers can unsubscribe at any time, but that they will continue to receive the concerned publication until the subscription end date and that no refund will be issued. But what does one do when the publication is not being issued at all. I suppose that the answer is that you will get neither a refund or a magazine, and thanks for the donation. I wonder if it is worth the cost of suing for breach of contract when the monetary damages are less than $20.00. But I suppose that NOOK and BN count on that kind of logic to bilk their customers. This has been the most disastrous public relations action that I have ever seen from an American (supposedly reputable) Cooperation. All of you out there who wants to subscribe to a NOOK magazine beware.
