The school year is winding down, and Nate can’t wait for summer vacation: baseball, beach trips, and…overripe bananas? Yuck!
Turns out Nate has a problem with fruit that’s past its prime. And that’s not all that’s bugging him. Kim Cressly is making Chester jealous at Nate’s expense, Artur is challenging him in the Hunny Bursts mascot contest, and his replacement social studies teacher is none other than Coach John. In banana terms, it’s all left Nate feeling a little bruised. Can he make it to summer without slipping up?
Join Nate and the gang for more shenanigans in this newest collection of Big Nate comics!

I can't get enogh big nate
My Son Loved The Book So Much, We Will Definitely Be Buying More Books By Lincoln Pierce.
Librarian: So many of the kids I've worked with were huge fans of Big Nate, and I don't see this volume changing that. The comics are squarely aimed at mid-to-upper elementary, and they should hit their mark. Expect fans of series like Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Middle School the Worst Years of My Life, and Captain Underpants, to be all over this series. Reader: I'm a bit too old for Big Nate. The humor is definitely aimed a bit (lot) younger, but I can still see the appeal. They're definitely what might be classified as "boy" humor, but there's enough there that girl's should like them too.
The school year is ending and Big Nate and his friends have to survive the end of the year and get through the summer. This graphic novel changes scenes quickly which always keeps the readers on their toes! Big Nate, even with all of his faults, is a likable character. He faces many challenges but gets through them all in hilarious ways! From having a baseball team with a wimpy name, to constantly annoying his classmate Gina, to having his uncle, the "man child" babysit him; this book will keep you laughing the whole way through!
