Great book. Read it! A little graphic, but overall an intense story. Love!

This book was trite and predictable. Eden's relationship with Taylor is completely unbelievable, her family (the bad guys) are hate-able without being realistic, and the entire book focuses more on Eden's two month romance with a man she just met and then marries. The 'plot' has nothing to do with the story until the last 50 pages. The dialogue was even atrocious. The way the characters spoke to one another made me feel the author was trying entirely too hard to make everyone fit the roles she'd drawn for them, without considering that people don't talk the way her characters spoke. The entire book was badly written. Don't waste your time or money.

A little different from Coulters other books but still a good read. Love to see more like this one.

Quirky and independent, but haunted by a horrifying episode in her past, the model known as Eden isn't thrilled to be assigned a bodyguard. Especially not one as masculine and viral as ex-cop S. C. Taylor. For his part, Taylor's not that struck by his new assignment. Not that is, until her gets to know Eden a bit better.Told in a series of vignettes and flashbacks, the suspense builds as it becomes clear that someone is trying to maim or kill Eden. But who? Suspects range from her seriously dysfunctional family to the mob bosses her manager owes gambling debts to. Or could the villain be someone else entirely? This is vintage Coulter, a bit rough and violent at times, but surprisingly not that dated. And given the recent popularity of top model reality shows, I'd say it has a fairly wide appeal.

Total crap. It read like it was written in the 1970s when romance writers got away with murder in terms of details and authenticity.

How do you move on with your life after a tragic event? How do you recover when your family doesn't support you? Emotionally riveting and deeply intense. This is my first Catherine Coulter book and I was very impressed. With each page, I began to truly appreciate just how much it means to have a family who loves you and supports you.

This is a fun read which I really enjoyed, but don't make the mistake of starting on the first page. Everything before page 85 is gone over and over in the following pages and it ruins the "mystery."

Slow start, good finish.

This is a typical Catherine Coulter modern romance. The reader will easily relate to Eden, and applaud her growth as the book continues!
