I purchased this cookbook and tryed some of the recipies. They turned out really well. I have been cooking for over 40 years now and this makes life a little easier. The only suggestion I would make is to use low sodium ingredients such as broths and canned goods or if you are really ambitious make your own broths and freeze them. Summer may be a good time to use fresh tomatoes instead of canned. The sodium count in some of the recepies seem a little high because of the canned goods used otherwise this is a great book.

I was very excited to use my new crock pot, but I am not much of a cook (and don't have much time to be). But this cook book is very usefull and easy to use. It gives substitute ingredient suggestions, and cooking tips for each receipe. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent slow cook recipe book, especially for beef. Better than others in our library.

We've tried 2 recipes so far, one for chili (which was great) and one for creamy chicken and rice (which wasn't quite as good, but still tasty). I love this book. Since I'm working now, I'm planning on using my slow cooker a lot more. This looks like just what I need.
