Overview

This book is an excellent follow-up book to Irina Miech’s first very successful book, Beautiful Wire Jewelry for Beaders. Following a similar layout and organization as her first book, this book presents 22 new projects including necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings, brooches, and pendants. Irina keeps the projects fashionable and fresh by including a mix of metals such as copper, bronze, and silver, introducing exciting new elements including rivets, metal blanks, sea glass, and wires, and using new tools including hole-punching pliers and letter stamps. All of these additions inspire new colors and depth in the wire projects she presents.

I have the first of these books and love it - wonderful projects, great photos. I wanted more, so I ordered the second one. This one is a great book too, but unlike the first one it has more of metalsmithing than actual beading. Still, it's a wonderful resource for a more advanced jewelry maker. The problem was that B&N sent me a copy that either was sold and returned or spent some time on the sales floor - it was all scuffed and several pages were torn out! Naturally, I took it to the nearest store and returned it. Perhaps some day I will buy it again.
