Unpopular opinion here, but I LOVED Allegiant. I thought the ending was absolutely fitting, not only to the story but for Tris and Tobias as characters. I cannot imagine Roth ending this trilogy any other way. I was spoiled for the big ending awhile ago, so that might have been why I had no problems with it. Also, being spoiled for the ending helped me notice some major foreshadowing throughout the entire series. I would go into this one with an open mind instead of letting other's opinions of it sour your expectations. It really was an amazing series ending. I know a lot of people think Veronica Roth was brave for doing what she did, and she definitely was, but in my opinion it was just the only possible way this story should have ended. I'm sad to say goodbye to this world and these characters, but I know I'll be re-reading these books in the future.

Average. The story was dragged on, and was quite boring. I read both Divergent and Insurgent in a week, total, and it has taken me 3 months to attempt at finishing Allegiant. I eventually gave up, and just read the ending. Amazing ending, which really threw me off, but the rest of the story was average, and not as suspenseful as the first 2 books in the trilogy.

This was my favorite book in the series. It was a bit different than the other two titles. There was less violence and the characters were already fully developed so it was like I already knew them. I read this through in one sitting. No spoilers here!! I wrote next sequel in my mind immediately after finishing this volume. Too bad it will never come to happen. I know in my mind the my version of the fourth book is correct and it completes the set (in my mindset, at least). Perhaps I should write a separate blog post with my ending? This is a good series. It isn't perfect, but extremely entertaining.
