I recieved this book really quickly this book is very deatailed as possible it expanins everything in photoshop it starts from installation to all features of photoshop so if u want to learn photoshop at its best get this book you can also purchase this book with Adobe Photoshop CS5 for Photographers The Ultimate Workshop it extendend resources into that book highly recommended.
I am using this book for a Photoshop class and I do not like it. It is very difficult reading and boring. I would probably understand it if I was using it for Advanced Photoshop, but I am a beginner. It is also a book specifically for Photographers and I am going into Web Design. I recently bought Adobe Photoshop CS6 Digital Classroom and that works very well for my purposes. (The instructor doesn't like the book either and he is a professional photographer for journalism)
My husband got Martin Evenings CS5 book and it si great as the most detailed book you will ever have on Photoshop. The good part, it is like a college textbook. The downside, it is like a college textbooks.
