The Wildwood Bakery (Owl Diaries Series #7) based on 0 ratings. 1 reviews.
I had the reader, a curious 7 year old 2nd grader (my boyfriend's daughter) review some of the books she has recently read. She has read a few of the Owl Diaries recently and loves them! I would say they are not as challenging as some series she also enjoys, however, this is most likely due to her reading at a higher level than her age/grade level, She loves the content and characters of the books, but speeds through them because they are written in true "diary" format, short sentences per page with pictures etc. I wouldn't consider these "chapter books", but are well written for developing reading skills. The following is her review: "In this book, Eva and her class are trying to raise money for a wing chair for Mary's little sister, Mia. They all have great ideas to raise money, but, Mrs. Featherbottom picks two. One idea was a candy store, the other, was Eva and Lucy's bakery. This book is fun to read."
