Echoes of Dollanganger gives the reader insight to so much that happened in Flowers in the Attic, but the surprise ending and how it all affected the main characters was what pleased me the most.

I have read Vc every since my twenties. I was intrigued by the author after I saw an interview with her. She confessed that her stories were based either on actual families that she had changed the names of to protect or actual real events. But either way her stories are dark, they never end well. Thats one of the reasons I have enjoyed her stories but the ghost writer whose job it is to finish her manuscripts just can't write the same. I picked up this book because I had already read the Flowers In The Attic series. It is hard to forget such a family saga. The series should have been left alone with the last one, but like most things they cant leave a good thing alone. This book lacked any of the elements that a true Vc Andrews books should have. The stories never end happily or with a so called happily for now. I will no longer be reading any of the newer books done in her name.

A very good book. I had it read in one day. Now waiting for the 3rd book to come out. Highly recommend this book and the 1st one of this series.

Godly Parent: Apollo though he's never actually met him.
Weapon: He has a leather wallet that when he flips it open it turns into a bronze double sided sword. His wallet never turns when someone else trys to flip it and it constantly has money in it which is a huge plus.
Powers: He can't do much but he can heal people and himself and dry people with the power of the sun. If he trys hard enough he can burn people. Like a sunburns not literal burning. And he's really good at singing and playing instruments.
Other: He has lots of muscle and a nice set of abs because of all the sports he does and he also used to live on a farm with his grandma so he did lots of hard work.
Don't think I forgot anything so byyyyyyeeeee!!!!!
