This story is about a girl named Beatrice has to go to library with her brother 3 days a week, but she never wants to go. After bothering her brother long enough, he found a sign about the librarian reading a book to some children. Her brother took her to the class, and at first Beatrice didn't want to be there. By the middle of the story Beatrice loved the story. When her brother came back to get her, Beatrice didn't want to leave the lirbary.

Beatrice is a bratty little girl, who has to spend three days with her brother at the library. She doesn't want to. Her brother tries to placate Beatrice is several ways. He is only successful when the librarian reads to her about a previous experience. This story certainly hits home with me. I am the second to the last of 6 children. I was a very bratty child. My siblings tried any and everything to keep me happy.Showing children how to help with their siblings is a very good lesson we could take from this story. Using this story with others that have the same ryhme sequences, could keep children interested in reading.

This is the cutest book about a girl who has to follow her big brother to the library. She does not want to go to the library let alone read a book there. Her brother is working on a big report and is unable to give her attention, so she listens to the librarian read a book with an attitude because ¿I don¿t want to¿ By the end of the story she found she really enjoyed it and asked to see the book and read again to herself. This is a wonderful story about being more open to different things and in this case reading which is fundamental for children.
